Today Is the Day: Willpower Live



the performance is good, the footage sucks
it's grainy, there are no scene selections or any frills to the dvd, and the camera never does any close ups or anything interesting. the performance is obviously passionate and austin shows some good swagger with his guitar, but i would recommend this to completists only.

This DVD is great. Mostly for the reason that I paid $1 for it (+shipping!) on the marketplace, but it would still be worth full price if you're a huge fan of Today is the Day (but why would you want to pay full price when it's available so cheap? Just buy it already!). I'm not a huge fan, but I thought what the hay, it has to be better than the other DVD that I ordered (TitD's selt-titled).

Today is the Day's Willpower DVD is a pretty good amateur recording of a 1995 performance of the band in their hometown (I think) of Tennessee, starring the main man Steve Austin with Brad Elrod on drums and Mike Herrell on bass. I have no idea where Brad Elrod or Mike Herrell are from or what other bands they are in, but they have kind faces. They perform the album "Willpower" in its entirety.

Packaging: Comes in a jewel case with the cover art from the CD (as far as I can tell, I don't have the CD to compare), except it says "Live DVD" at the bottom. On the inside it has a...
